Moontool V1.0
by Eric G. Suchanek
Moontool is a port of John Walker's moontool program for UNIX. It gives a
variety of statistics about the moon, including phase, distance, angular,
size and time to next full moon. A schematic of the current phase is also
shown as a picture. This is illustrative only; the accurate phase is shown
in the text.
USE:
Make sure you set the timezone environment variable with:
setenv TZ "tz-string".
tz-string is in the form: EST+05 (timezone name, delta time to get
to GMT from your timezone).
EST+05 - eastern standard time.
EDT+04 - eastern daylite savings time.
CST+06 - central standard time.
CDT+05 - central daylite time.
I don't think the actual "est, edt, cst, cdt" string matters, but the delta time
offset does. Make sure that this delta time is correct.
The program runs under V2.04, but should work correctly under V1.3 as well.
(The colors, however have been optimized for the default 2.0 palette).
